Theo Paphitis calls himself a ‘shopkeeper’ on his Twitter bio, but is best known as the British retailer entrepreneur who has appeared on BBC’s Dragons' Den. He is the chairman of hardware and housewares chain Robert Dyas, high street stationery specialist Ryman the Stationer, and the owner of lingerie chain Boux Avenue.
Theo created the Small Business Sunday (#SBS on Twitter) concept in October 2010, inviting small businesses to tweet at him with a description of their venture to secure his endorsement and he’ll be at the show in September to share what he’s learnt over 40+ years in the retail industry.
Theo will be bringing 12 of the most innovative businesses in his #SBS community to Autumn Fair as part of the #SBS Pavilion – a collection of exhibitors who will have never been seen at a tradeshow before! The final 12 will be chosen by a panel of Autumn and Spring Fair experts.
