1. The competition is open to persons aged 18 years or over and who have completed the application form located here: autumnfair.com/retail-makeover, except employees of the company listed in clause 18 (the “Promoter”), their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the competition.
2. All entries must be submitted via the registration link for the Retail Makeover Mission https://www.autumnfair.com/retail-makeover. By registering through this link, you will be entered into the competition. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the anonymised responses to the entry survey.
3. The opening date for entries is 10th June 2025 at 9:00 am UK time. The closing date of the competition is 29th June 2025 at midnight. Entries received after this time may not be accepted, and the Promoter is under no obligation to consider entries received after this time.
4. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when purchasing online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete registrations and any incomplete registrations will not be considered valid for entry into the competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any registrations which are not completed for any reason.
5. Winners will be chosen by the Promoter at its sole discretion by 7th July ("Draw Date").
6. The winners will receive £1,000 buyer’s budget for either Spring Fair or Autumn Fair, a task team of experts to mentor the entrant, and a VIP tradeshow experience.
7. The winners will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) by 7th July. The winner agrees to document their experience at either Spring Fair or Autumn Fair. The winner agrees to be available for filming on 15/16th July and shall attend Autumn Fair trade show 7-10th September for one day. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 5 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner's prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
8. The prize will be arranged for the winner by the Promoter and the details notified to the winner within 30 days of the winner’s response in clause 7 above.
9. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
11. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
12. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails springautumnfairmarketing@hyve.group or writes to the Promoter at Hyve UK Events Limited at 2 Kingdom Street, London, W2 6JG (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in clause 3. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoters springautumnfairmarketing@hyve.group In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
13. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
15. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
16. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter's privacy policy https://hyve.group/privacy-notice. See also clause 12 with regard to the announcement of winners.
17. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom.
