Based in Harome, North Yorkshire, Susel & Co produce fine art stationery goods, prints, and original artwork. Susan Brunskill, Creative Director and Founder, heads the family business, which was born out of a passion for combining her art with her love of the written word.
As an illustrator and animator, trained at the Royal College of Art, Susan is able to capture the movement and emotion of her subjects with ease. Whether it’s wildlife, botanical, pets, or portraits, the spirit and character of the subject draw you in, with such attention to detail.
With a focus on luxury stationery, Susel & Co take pride in everything they produce, ensuring that the final product is one which is anything but basic. The team works together on each stationery product, whether it’s notecards, writing sets, or greeting cards, to produce the highest quality possible.
From the initial idea, the team handles every step of the process. Painting, designing, printing, and packaging is all done in the Harome-based studio. Each item is carefully crafted, to provide their customers not only top-quality products but also a service to match. Susel & Co provide additional options to personalise their stationery range.
Recently, Susel & Co have begun working with UK-based fabric printers to expand their range into homewares, including tea towels. This has provided more range to their offering while using the artwork which is much appreciated by their customers.
