Natural Handmade Soap & Incense
From the Slopes of Nepal
Naturally Nepal’s Fair-trade Handmade Soaps are made using a traditional cold process technique blending herbal ingredients, essential oils, and other natural materials.
The Process of making the soap starts by extracting the many Himalayan herbal ingredients found in the Himalayas of Nepal. These same herbs have been used in the Ayurvedic healing system for centuries.
Local women and communities are involved in growing and harvesting the herbs which are found in the east side of Kathmandu, capital of Nepal.
Then the next process is to add natural Himalayan essential oils like mustard, coconut, castor, neem and seed from Churee tree. These oils are grown and found on the west side of Nepal – Rukum, Rolpa, and Jajarkot.
Then the process comes together to make each soap bar by moulding all these natural herbal ingredients, essential oils, and other Himalayan ingredients into all-vegetable based Naturally Nepal’s soaps.
Our incenses are made entirely of natural plants and herbs; they are free of charcoal, which is commonly used to induce burning and they are free of artificial glue, which would emit toxic compounds while burning. Hence, it starts from the selection of the raw materials such as herbs, flowers, resins, roots & spices founds in the high altitude regions and plain of Nepal.
The ingredients are blended at different times with different herbs, flowers, resin and spices such as red and yellow sandalwood, juniper, bdellium, cedar wood, agar wood, jasmine, rose, Palo Santo, amber, cinnamon, cardamom, clove, nutmeg, mace, holy basil, star anise, triphala and many other precious herbs, resin & spices.
Our incense is completely handcrafted with no compromises, respecting people and nature.
