About the Artwork
This is a collage painting made entirely from the words of John Clare, Northamptonshire’s famous “peasant poet.” I print the poem in a range of contemporary colours, then cut, rip, and arrange the lines by hand—building the artwork piece by piece. The result is a design that’s both modern and rooted in tradition, with a nod to classic lino cut prints that I’ve always admired.

It’s the sort of piece that gets people talking—whether they’re poetry fans, art collectors, or just love something a bit different.
