About the Artwork:
Inspired by the wildlife and waterways of the British Isles, especially my beloved Nene Valley, “Pretty Swallow” is a celebration of nature, poetry, and colour. The design for this print was created using hand-cut verses from Northamptonshire’s own John Clare, printed in fresh, contemporary hues and arranged into a lively collage. The result is a joyful portrait of a swallow in flight on the canals of the United Kingodm, capturing that sense of movement and wonder we all feel watching these birds dance above our rivers and canals.
