Launched in 2019, TIE is a women-led brand that celebrates the value of craft, care, and community. TIE wasn’t born in a boardroom. It began around kitchen tables, late-night phone calls, and the quiet determination of a woman who believed in the magic of handmade. What started in 2019 with a few knots of macrame and humble doormats quickly grew into something much bigger, a brand that gave voice to tradition, care, and creativity.

She didn’t follow trends. She followed her hands, her heritage, and her heart.

When the first bags came to life, they weren’t just accessories, they were stories. Stories of women reclaiming their space. Of craft being passed down like a family recipe. Of the kind of beauty that doesn’t scream for attention, but lingers quietly, like a memory.

In December 2024, TIE joined the Kuuraii family. And though we’ve grown, our essence remains untouched. Every bag is still born from time, intention, and hands that know the value of slow. We work with artisans who put soul into every stitch. We try to choose materials that are gentle on the planet. And we run on the belief that business can be personal, ethical, and deeply human.
