Let's rewind. For millennials like me, Topshop was that awkward chapter where we all wore identical Joni jeans and believed backless tops were appropriate for literally any occasion. But Topshop's SS25 'Ranch Water' showcase just proved that Topshop isn't just back - it's having the kind of rebrand that makes you forget all about its basic era.
What hit different was how they've moved completely away from the Topshop we grew up with. No more squeezing into jeans that gave us all collective trauma. Instead, it's like they've studied the "how to become an it-girl brand" playbook and nailed it. The collection feels as if it's stepped straight of the runway with a very apt Coachella, palm springs vibe. Suede pieces felt premium, crotchet sets looked put together and the refined design of the accessories and shoes was surprising for a high street brand.
